Should have been 3-0 in my locks last week but UCLA decided to blow it. But, as I have said before money is money and 2-1 last week is still a winning week.
|Week 1||Week 2||Week 3||Overall|
Wake Forest vs App State: Wake Forest -4.5
I like Wake Forest in this game. They have covered every game ATS and are trying to set themselves up with wins before they go through the ACC Atlantic division gauntlet.
Miami vs Toledo: Miami -13.5
Miami is 3 weeks in between games, which could mean : 1) They will play extremely sloppy and have a lot of penalties against a high scoring team in Toledo OR 2) they will be prepared and show up acting like the number 14 team in the nation. I like Miami but wouldn’t be surprised if Toledo kept it close. We need the Hurricanes to show up on defense for this spread to cover.
South Carolina vs. Louisiana Tech: South Carolina -8
Coming off of a loss against Kentucky in their home opener, look for the gamecocks to come out swinging against Louisiana Tech. The line has moved from -10.5 to -8 and in my opinion they had it right from the get go. Cocks win by 10+.
Georgia Tech vs Pittsburgh: GT -8
Georgia Tech and the triple option have a good QB this year which makes them a defensive nightmare. Pittsburgh barley beat Youngstown State. No brainer here. This one should probably be a lock.
NC State vs. FSU: Over 51
This game can go two ways. 1) NC State actually plays well and it’s a high scoring affair OR 2) FSU passes all over a terrible NC State secondary and they blow them out at home. Either way over.
Michigan State vs Notre Dame: Teaser- Michigan state +10 with Under 60
Notre Dame is terrible this year. But I want a little cushion just in case.
