Restaurant Of The Weekend: Sushi Blues
Bar Of The Weekend: North Street Beer Station
First Friday//Downtown Raleigh
Get downtown and check out some art, beer, music, and street vendors. We’ve included this thing called a ‘map’ to be able to let you see what is going on. Don’t know if their doing it this time, but I always enjoy chilling on Hargett St and listening to music in front of Raleigh Times.
Arizona Coyotes vs Carolina Hurricanes/ PNC Arena/ 7:30 PM
The cross country match-up will be the envy of all the fans of the original six teams. This season has been rough, but there is still a lot to get excited for in the PNC Arena. Also, come July you’ll be itching for hockey, so might as well take advantage of the remaining games.
North Carolina FC vs Charleston Battery/ 2 PM
The season starts on March 25th, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait to see some soccer action. Head on out and practice for tailgate season. We’re getting pretty excited for the tailgate scene on March 25th.
Craft Beer & Food Adventure / Meet at Logan’s Garden Shop / 2:30 PM
Trek around downtown to eat and drink or what we like to call Friday and Saturday nights. You’ll meet at Logan’s Garden Shop in Seaboard, but I promise it’s not a trap. Check out the info here.
Los Lonely Boys / Lincoln Theater / 8 PM
Remember the song “Heaven”? Well the Top 40 sensations will be playing at the Lincoln Theater on Saturday night. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
Don’t know what to do on Sunday? No worries I got it planned for you:
11:45 AM- Brunch at Humble Pie.
- You’ll have 15 min to get your order straight before the bar opens at noon. Y’all see the brunch law?
1:00-3:30 PM- Drink and play game at Boxcar
- Can’t go wrong with $1 mimosas. Also, if you get bored of drinking you can always play the games.
3:30-4:00 PM – Walk time, gotta figure out where to get an early dinner
4:00 PM – Early Dinner at Dos Taquitos
- No, this isn’t a senior citizen blog. Listen, you’ve been drinking since noon it’s time to eat.
Good job, you took back Sunday!
