First off, glad to see the welcoming Coach Mark Gottfried received when he walked onto the floor.
At N.C State, Mark Gottfried walks out to nice round of applause from the people who are here. Mike Brey greets him with a hug.

However, the Wolfpack picked up where they left off by committing defensive miscues and poor shooting to create a large deficit in the first half. Unlike in past games, the Pack fought back and made it a game towards the end. Markell Johnson had one of his best games of the year (12 pts, 5 ast, 3 reb) as he continues to gain confidence. In the end, the Irish were just too much from three point range (13 for 30) and the Pack fell 81-72.
Key Observation Of The Game:
The halftime show of the Chicago Boyz was excellent. Here’s their booking info for your next house party.
