Recap: Hurricanes vs Oilers

Despite being out shot 25-23 and Connor McDavid netting a goal the Hurricanes were able to get the victory 2-1.

The Canes played great hockey and got goals from Jordan Staal and Sebastian Aho to defeat the Oilers once again in the PNC. Cam Ward came under constant fire but was able to stop 24 shots and says “don’t give up on me yet.” The recent  break seems to have done the Canes well as they’re playing much better hockey then what we saw the week before.

Storm Category: Category 3 Hurricane. They played well the whole game and were able to get a win against one of the best in the Western Conference.

Sebastian Aho Player of The Game: Sebastian Aho

The kid has 13 goals in the last 25 games and had the game winner tonight. Can’t hate what we’re seeing.

What’s Next?: Canes improve to 23-20-7 and still sit five points behind Philly for the final wild card spot. They travel to New Yawk for a 7 pm game on Saturday vs the Islanders. Will we see Eddie Lack in net? Tune in tomorrow on Fox Sports Carolina.
