Basically a bunch of Russians influenced a victory for Washington and our Hurricanes came up short in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Capitals. The Canes traded goal for goal with the Capitals, but couldn’t get it done in the shootout. Sebastian Aho and Tuevo Teravainen each had two points to lead the way for the Hurricanes. The ‘This Is The Year But Not Really’ Capitals extended their win streak to six games. While we didn’t get the win the game was chippy which we hope leads to an ongoing rivalry.
Storm Category: Category 2 Hurricane. The winds blew but not in overtime….I’d call the storm Harry
CANES GOAL OF THE GAME:
A real beaut right here:
Guy You Don’t Like Of The Game: Justin Williams
Yeah, I know he was on the 2006 team. But ten years is a long time and a lot has changed since then, I mean my biggest decision in 2006 was Busch Light or Natural Light. Justin basically knuckle jabbed Jeff Skinner as he tried to skate by. So given all that information JW is no longer a friend of Raleigh.
Hurricanes Player Of The Game: Teuvo Teravainen
Turbo tallied a goal and a assist.
Whats Next?: The Hurricanes will move on and prepare for the Buffalo Sabres Saturday night in Raleigh.
Free Foods: We got the tri-fecta two games in a row!!!
